James is a third generation carpenter, now with 30 years experience in all aspects of furniture and kitchen design, manufacture and installation.​​​​

James is the cornerstone of our team, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to every project he undertakes. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of our clients' needs, he expertly navigates the entire process from initial client consultations to final installations.​​​​​

Mark
Director & Workshop Manager
Mark has vast and varied experience having spent over 30 years in the bespoke furniture industry. He spent time in France learning the art of Restoration and French Polishing and was the workshop manager at a bespoke kitchen firm.

At MJK Mark keeps the production flowing and oversees the entire manufacturing process here in our workshop, from initial spec worksheets to the final checks before jobs are loaded for delivery.​

Richard
Trade Manager & Cabinet Maker
Richard, our Trade Manager and skilled Cabinet Maker, brings a wealth of experience and craftsmanship to the team, with over three decades of joinery experience.
With a strong background in both management and hands-on cabinet making, Richard plays a crucial role in overseeing the production process, ensuring that every piece meets our high standards of quality.

Alex
Cabinet Maker & Spray Finishing
Alex is our talented Cabinet Maker and Spray Finisher, playing a key role in the precision and quality of our kitchen components.
He joined the Mark James team after impressing us on his work experience in 2017 and has been a fundamental part of the team since.
Alex is at the helm of our drawer production and spray finishing, and on top of that is also an excellent cabinet maker with a keen eye for detail.
Louisa
Designer & Marketing
Louisa brings a unique blend of creativity and technical expertise to her roles as both a kitchen designer and photographer.
With over 15 years of experience in design, she has a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that each kitchen she designs not only meets the needs of our clients but also reflects their personal style.
As a passionate photographer, Louisa looks forward to seeing the designs come to life and capturing them through the camera to showcase here on our website.
Ian
Furniture Installation
Ian, a.k.a 'Big Easy' is our ever reliable and unflappable furniture installer.
With nearly four decades of experience in the industry, Ian ensures that every detail is executed with precision and care.
His commitment to quality and his friendly demeanor make him an invaluable member of our team, and his work consistently leaves clients delighted with the results.
